Collaboration.

I called this “Sea Creature.” I’m not sure what Phillip would call it. We made it together—I’d make more art babies with him, for sure.

Collaboration is a beautiful thing. So why don’t more artists do it? I haven’t been able to get a straight anawer on that—maybe because artists tend to be more guarded? More competitive? Well, I’m neither of those things, and I love to collaborate with other artists willing to participate. I acutally found one. His name is Phillip Price, and he’s pretty amazing. He’s strictly an abstract artist, and he lets go and lets flow. We spent an entire day together, throwing paint, drinking whisky and wine, and we finished with two special pieces (see the Sea Creature) of art that I’m supremely proud of. And I know he is, too. I can’t wait to do it again with him or any other artist out there willing to let go and let flow in the spirt of collaboration.
